WILD FLOWERS

Stay on the path.
Please take care.
Don't step on the flowers
You see growing there.
They're easily destroyed,
And without them, you know,
There'd be a void.
We'd miss them so.

As down the road of life you go,
Be careful where you tread.
Don't hurt the ones along the way
By careless deed or a word you've said,
But help to nurture and sustain
The tender gentle soul,
So that it may always remain
A person well and whole.
